Cheap long-distance taxi at a good price

A long-distance taxi is not ordered like a ride across town. Between Paris and Lyon, Nantes or Strasbourg, hundreds of kilometres, tolls and sometimes a hotel night for the driver come into play. That is why we do not run a meter on these trips: we draw up a free, no-obligation quote, worked out for your exact journey, and confirm it to you before any booking. The aim: a cheap long-distance taxi, at a good price for the distance covered, with no nasty surprise.

This page explains what goes into the quote, what is included, how to request it and how to compare it fairly with the train or your own car. You will also find links to each destination served from Paris and the Paris region.

How is a long-distance taxi fare worked out?

The quote is based on the real door-to-door distance, the tolls on the route, the departure time and the option chosen: one way, a same-day return, or waiting on site.

• Distance: from your exact address to your arrival address, not city centre to city centre.
• Tolls: built into the quote, you pay nothing on the way.
• The driver's return: on a one-way trip, they drive back empty; the quote accounts for it once and for all.
• Waiting on site: for an outing or a meeting, waiting time is included in the quote.
• Stops: a stop on the way, at a relative's or for a meal break, is mentioned in the request.

What is included in the quote?

The accepted quote is the price of the trip: it does not change with traffic, jams leaving Paris or a detour forced by roadworks. Luggage is included, within the boot of a sedan, as are fuel, tolls, tracking of your train or flight when leaving from a station or airport, and help loading suitcases. Nothing is added on arrival.

• A sedan for 1 to 4 passengers with a boot for travel suitcases.
• Child seat provided on request, to be specified in the quote request.
• Departure possible from Paris, anywhere in the region, Roissy-CDG, Orly or a station.

How do you get a free quote?

Send the departure address, the arrival address, the date, the time, the number of passengers and suitcases. You receive a free, no-obligation quote, to accept or not.

The more precise the request, the more accurate the quote: a full address avoids any gap, and a set departure time lets us organise the driver. For a return trip, give the return time you want; for a very distant destination such as Toulouse or Strasbourg, we also tell you the realistic journey time with breaks. The booking form, phone or WhatsApp all work.

Taxi, train or your own car: how to compare?

To compare fairly, add up everything the train costs: each traveller's ticket, the trip to the Paris station, the taxi on arrival and the time spent on connections. Alone with a bag, the train is often unbeatable. For three or four people with suitcases, a pet, children or an older person, the door-to-door taxi becomes a serious option that removes every transfer. Against your own car, it spares you the fatigue of the road, parking and the drive back.
